- Patients with a poor response to treatment include:
- Patients with a failure to achieve remission within 4 weeks
- Patients with the presence of MRD after induction/consolidation treatment. These patients have an increased chance of relapse and death.
Good response to treatment
Patients with a good response to treatment include:
- Patients with a negative MRD after consolidation and who undergo maintenance treatment. They have a significantly higher 5-year overall survival compared with patients with a positive MRD after consolidation.
