- Consolidation treatment is given when the patient has achieved complete remission to consolidate (reinforce) the remission, and reduce any risk of a relapse (return of ALL after complete remission).
- Consolidation therapy consists of similar combinations of drugs to those used for induction of your remission, but at lower doses.
